What do you enjoy most about your training? And how long have you been training with us?
I started in the first group when the Glastonbury gym opened, so have been training now for 4 months. What I really enjoy is the variety of each session and working with three different qualified trainers as this makes workout unique and stops be becoming bored.
How does it compare to other gyms/fitness programess you have tried?
40+ is by far the best gym/fitness experience I've had and tips that the trainers give on different stretches, nutrition and general fitness are great.
How did you feel before you started?
I was a bit nervous because in my previous classes I suffered really bad delayed onset muscle soreness which would last all week. I can honestly say that my muscles ache, I know that I've used them, but they don't hurt and because each session is different I am not running the risk of injury.
How do you feel now?
Great, my fitness has increased which has helped my running and I am very positive about creating my summer body over the winter. Lets 'crack on!'.
What changes have you seen as a result of training with us?
Physically I've lost 7.5 inches which is amazing and friends / family have commented on the difference in my shape. I gone down a size in clothing which always makes you feel good.
Mentally I feel more positive and committed to making other beneficial changes in my life.
I have found the workouts have a great effect on my emotional state. When I'm stressed I go to my HIIT class and exercise the stress away.
What would you say to someone who knows they need to do this but is sitting on the fence?
You're a long time dead - rest then, but while you're living work to be the best version of yourself that you can be. So stop being a 'sloth' and get with the beat.
