What do you enjoy most about your training? And how long have you been training with us?
In my 8th week of training now. I genuinely look forward to each session - they're always interesting, different, and never boring. I appreciate learning the huge variety of different exercises and trying to gradually improve my technique over time. I love the feeling of well-being after each session. I really appreciate the feeling of getting stronger/fitter/healthier that for me has occurred at a surprisingly fast pace. The trainers themselves are all excellent - professional, knowledgeable, friendly and always supportive.
How does it compare to other gyms/fitness programess you have tried?
Motivation is so easy thanks to being part of a group and due to the enthusiasm of the instructors. Although I've generally kept myself pretty fit over the years (by playing football and running), this programme provides so much better all-round strength and fitness. Every session is really well planned, and they all seem to contribute as part of an ongoing bigger picture. Personally, I like the way the routines/exercises scale brilliantly with whatever your level of fitness. Each session is as intense as you want it to be - it always seems easy to give 100% effort.
How did you feel before you started?
I was quite apprehensive as I haven't really done anything similar before, or any general group fitness classes or even been to a gym by myself for 15+ years.
How do you feel now?
Really pleased I made myself try something I wouldn't normally do / a bit out of my comfort zone. Glad that it has helped supplement my hobbies such as football.
What changes have you seen as a result of training with us?
Physically I feel so much stronger, fitter and better balanced all-round. I now sleep so much better and I also manage to eat more sensibly, (at least 80% of the time).
What would you say to someone who knows they need to do this but is sitting on the fence?
Go for it. There's so much to potentially gain and hardly anything to lose by just trying it. Personally, I think it is really good value for money - i.e. getting this level of interaction/tuition with professional personal trainers at a fraction of the normal cost.
